About
Sac County is located in northwest Iowa and is comprised of nine communities. The county has a rich agricultural history and scenic rolling green hills. It is also home to many recreational opportunities and the World's Largest Popcorn Ball. The county was founded in 1856 and has a strong history, including being home to the Sauk and Fox Native American tribes.[1]
