About
The County Assessor's Office is responsible for assessing all real property within Davis County, Iowa, including residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural properties. The office is located in the lower level of the Courthouse and is led by Jason Wagler, Assessor, and Rhonda Norton, Field Appraiser. The assessor's primary duty is to ensure all real property is assessed, with revaluations occurring every two years. The office is appointed by a conference board and must meet state examination and continuing education requirements.[1]
