The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship provides information and resources for Farmers and Market Managers regarding the Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP). To be eligible for FMNP Vendor Certification, individuals must reside and grow eligible foods within Iowa or in a county adjacent to Iowa's border, be at least 18 years old, and participate in an FMNP authorized farmers market or farmstand. The department offers training sessions for new vendors.[1]
