Purpose of protocol:
The purpose of this protocol is to provide guidelines to parents/guardians and staff on how to provide a safe educational
environment for food-allergic students that exposure to food allergens is minimized for affected students. Food allergies
can be life threatening - this protocol has been developed to KEEP STUDENTS SAFE. The risk of accidental exposure to foods
can be reduced in the school setting if schools work with students

and health care providers to minimize risks and
provide a safe educational environment for food-allergic students.

Breakfast costs $1.90 Elementary; $2.00 6th-9th Grade; $2.05 10th-12th Grade; lunch costs $3.00 Elementary; $3.05 6th-9th
Grade; $3.15 10th-12th Grade. Your children may qualify for free meals/milk or for reduced price meals. Reduced price isDairy

Below are some common questions and answers to help you with the application process.
1. WHO CAN GET FREE OR REDUCED PRICE MEALS?
● All children in households receiving benefits from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
